I’m SO blessed to do what I love
Growing up, my parents took my family on adventures all the time. We had a large camper, and we would take off on road trips to places all over the US & Canada. We explored historic places, beaches, natural wonders, and national monuments. You name it, and we probably ventured there at some point. I knew I could look forward to family time, exploration, learning, and FUN. I was also able to travel abroad, to the Caribbean, and to Mexico at various times. These trips fueled my love for travel in so many ways.
Because of this, traveling is SUCH a passion of mine, & I absolutely love sharing that passion with others! I am a planner at heart, and a bit of a perfectionist. Planning trips for friends and family became second-nature to me. I enjoyed answering unending questions and giving advice on multiple topics and destinations. So when my husband encouraged me to look into planning trips as a profession, I began to seriously consider it. When I was given the opportunity to join Fairy Godmother Travel in 2016, I jumped at the chance to put my planning skills to work by serving others through the travel industry. And the past 8 years have been better than I could have imagined. My heart is blessed by the many families, couples, and individuals I’m able to work with.
My husband and I have been married since 2008 and we have three energetic children who love “taking trips.” My kids see me at the computer and enjoy asking about my travel work. I love that I’m able to run my small business from home while also homeschooling our kiddos.
I’m constantly dreaming of our next family trip, and I’m busy planning every client’s vacation as carefully and thoroughly as if it were my own.
